HUNTSVILLE, Alabama, Dec. 11, 2018 – A first-ever test of the on-land Aegis Weapon System using remote sensor data to engage and intercept an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile was successfully led by the United States Navy and Missile Defense Agency. The test was conducted at the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, Hawaii. Successful utilization of remote sensor data increases reaction time for warfighters in response to threats.
Equator Corporation’s Huntsville team was honored to support this activity and congratulates all involved with the development and implementation of the advantageous technologies.
